Day II: JH 2012!

Just a quick note to let you guys know that it was another awesome day here in JH! No messing around with lessons or logistics today; it was straight to the slopes for all of us. Coach Maione and Mr. Bell skied with our greens group, Mrs. Pollitt and Mrs. Evans showed the blues group the mountain, and Mr. Evans and I took on the crazies.

We all met up for lunch at the top of the gondola, and afterwards we carved out some time for individual pictures. Unfortunately, the mountain was socked in with snow and fog, so there isn't much of a backdrop to the pictures this year. Although tomorrow doesn't look any sunnier (actually quite the contrary), we'll give it another shot then.

Snow fell intermittently throughout the day, and much more is expected tonight and tomorrow. As we left the mountain and the lifts were closing for the day, the clouds really seemed to be opening up and dumping some goodness for the morning.

Tonight we did a shopping run in town, and many of your kids bought shirts (and some other...less traditional items). More news tomorrow--wish us luck on our last day of skiing!
